David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the firm stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the decision was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies globally in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins back in 2008.

To date, he has released more than 40 books altogether, which features a Christmas book named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins in October.

He first rose to fame on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
